ISTD Project Brief 2010
Project 4: True Geographies
Project 4: True Geographies
Project 4 "True Geographies" is about placing the written word & narrative into the physical landscape, making reading more interesting for those who don't normally take the time to do so.
The research behind this concept is the story of "Moondyne Joe," a local bushranger who became a famous legend in Western Australian history. 3 typographic displays are intended to be installed around the Old Newcastle Gaol in Toodyay, WA where some of the events took place.
Booklet intended for tourists to collect upon arrival at the Information Kiosk. It gives background information about the story and explains each installation. Includes a map.
